Converting Phone Numbers From Nokia to Motorola

Hi,

I recently bought a new motorola phone, and I need to take the phone numbers from one phone to another.
I have Nokia Content Copier-file, for all my old cellphone's info, is there any way to convert it and send it to my Motorola?
And by the way, can a Motorola be connected to a PC to do that?

Are you taking the SIM from the old phone and putting it into the new phone?

If so, all you need to do is copy all the phone numbers (contacts) to the SIM card and put the SIM in the new phone. Then you can just use the numbers off the SIM or copy them to the new phone's memory. (this is what I did with my Nokia and Motorola phones).

As to your second question, yes, you can connect the motorola to the computer. Depending on which Motorola phone you have, you can connect using Bluetooth, USB data cable, WiFi or Infrared.

Yes, but I have A LOT of numbers on my Nokia phone, about 1,500 , which exceeds the SIM's capability of moving them...

Anyway, I do not have my old phone anymore now, I have the numbers as a okia Content Copier-file on my pc, do you know anyway to convert this into a motorola file, then connect my Motorola to my PC, so we can send these numbers back to the Motorola phone?

Ah this makes things a little harder, and I don't have the program you used to fiddle with to see if I can come up with something that might work.

So unless this Nokia Content Copier program can export the contacts you have into say, Outlook or Outlook Express format I'm stumped. Is this program you used part of the Nokia PC Suite? If so I'll run out tomorrow after work and pick up a data cable for my current Nokia and see if I can figure something out.

Hopefully someone here on the forums has already found a way or knows of a program that can convert the contacts in the format they are in, to one a Motorola program can read/import.
