Phone Tools update problem

When I started Phone Tools, I was told that there were updates available. I let them be downloaded and installed, and now the program doesn't work. When I double click my desktop icon, the logo appears (as with normal startup), but the program never gets any farther than that before shutting off again. I don't even know how i can find out what version it installed since it won't run. Help??! (I have XP and a Motorola V300)

Have you rebooted the computer since you updated Phone Tools?

If it still does not work after it's been updated, uninstall the program and re-install it and let it updated again, this time rebooting between updates (even if it doesn't mention rebooting).
