Help with unlocked V3 not getting service!

i bought my black razr a couple months ago brand new off ebay. i put my sim card in and it worked great until today. it says it has service and has a couple bars but i can't send messages and all calls fail. i have cellular one which uses cingulars network. it also has DCS by my service provider on the screen. no other cell one user has those letters. this also happened to the v600i i had. almost the same exact thing and when i go outside my area it worked perfectly again. if anyone knows how to fix this please help. thanks

Is your SIM card for Cellular One or Cingular? Are you using the same SIM card that you were using with the W600i when you had the same issue? If so then you may just need a new SIM card.

yeah its the same sim card but when i put it in any other phone like a nokia it works fine. i believe both phones were from over seas but i just don't get why they'd stop picking up service. when i go out of this area i get perfect service and the phone works fine. i just don't get it

& post up on there. You phone may need Cingular's FLEX software. Not completely sure though.
