How can I connect to my V325 with a USB data cable?

I have the cable I need, but I can't just connect it. What driver/software do I need to get this running?

Now there's another problem though...the calendar and multimedia functions don't seem to work. If I hover over them the tooltip text is something like "This feature is unavailable because another feature is running or the phone is still initializing."
