If you go into your ringtone/sound details, you can manualy raise or lower the volume of your ringtone.

I think we have the same issue here. I'm trying to figure out how to turn down the volume on the speakerphone like when I'm browsing ring tones and stuff like that. I can't find a volume control for it anywhere in the menus or the guide.

It would make it easier to help if you guys tell me what phone model you are using, i'm going to assume you guys have side keys, when using the speakerphone use the sidekeys to lower or raise the volume.

I'm using an E815. I tried the method you just talked about, but it doesn't work. The music just stops playing.

did you try the side keys on the other side? when using the speakerphone the sidekeys lower the volume.

    Re: Motorola sound control.

Finally figured it out. With the E815 you can only change the master volume when you're playing back a tone from the phones storage. Basically all I did was open up a midi and the side keys worked fine. It just doesn't work if you're playing a game, browsing the web, etc.

    Re: Motorola sound control.

Yeah I know. It makes me look like a complete moron, but I hadn't tried that with one of the phones preloaded tones.
