    does the MOTOROLA MPX220 need any special sim card if i was to buy an unlocked version or will my cingular card work with it?

    Actually, the phone itself could be unbranded (with MPx220 under keypad instead of Cingular logo) but it could come with the cingular branded ROM which already has the settings! But... if you upgrade to an Asian or generic ROM those settings WILL get deleted. See my blog, there is a link to a CAB file which will preload all of the Cingular Settings directly onto your blog, it is soo easy and you don't need to do anything but press ok!

    P.S. Sorry about digging up an old thread, I felt like posting something useful rather than staying in the General section like I have been doing!
