I often (always) get the following message when I try to connect to Ringster+ in the Apps menu on my Motorola Razr:
"Cannot connect to the network. Please try exiting out of the app and try again later."
Is this due to heavy traffic of other users trying to access the Ringster+ service? If so, when is the best time to try to get there to download new ringtones to my phone. A few of the factory installed ringtones on my Razr are worthwhile, but there are a number of staple ringtones I previously downloaded to my old Nokia -- which I cannot transfer to the new Motorola. I need to get these from Ringster+. I signed up an account with them online, but I cannot download any tones directly from the web site...
If the above error message is NOT due to usage traffic, what is the trick for getting into the system? I can never seem to get through.

Re: Trouble accessing Ringster+
Not being funny, but surely the whole point of an advanced mobile like the V3 is that you're no longer tied to these ripoff services the way Nokias are? You can legally rip sounds for free from purchased CDs, DVDs, the internet, whatever, convert a small snippet to MP3 with RazorLame and bingo! I strongly object to the cartel operated by the various service providers who attempt to lock us in to their horrendously-expensive online stores. As long as you have bought the source material then fair use policy permits this.

So exactly WHAT DO they offer support on if not billing, content, or phone issues?

Re: Trouble accessing Ringster+
I know this is in the Motorola section, but I am having the same exact problem with my LG AX490. I cannot seem to connect to Ringster+ (which came pre-installed on my phone) or to the Axcess Apps catalog.
Any help out there?

Re: Trouble accessing Ringster+
gkonrad,
I ultimately contacted Alltel tech support and they had me shut off my phone while they apparently made some change to my account through their system computer and that solved my problem. The guy also told me to turn my phone off and back on once per day to "re-boot" it like a computer.
Hope this helps you with you situation.
