v551 text message notifications

Can I make my v551 start to beep or something when it has unread text messages? I'd like it to do something really annoying every couple of minutes until I check the messages.

Not sure if you're asking if you can set your phone to silent when recieving messages or if you want to set it to beep.

I want it to beep. I want it to be as annoying as possible when there are text messages waiting.

Ideally, I'd like my phone to emit some sort of a loud beep or something every minute or two minutes or whatever until I check the messages. I looked through the manual and the Settings, but nothing jumped out at me.

go to your menu settings, select 'audio' > 'detail' > 'change' > scroll down to 'reminders' set to 'on'.
