Unlock Subsidy Code for Motorolla v551

I need help on unlocking my Motorolla v551.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Since this is an AT&T phone, the only way to unlock it is to PAY to do it. AT&T won't, but you can try their custormer service, I know the Cingular side won't do it.

It you want to do it for free, you'll need to download software to edit the phone's software. And back it up first just incase you mess it up the first couple of times and end up with a paper weight.

Vxxx Stuff Motorola Cell Phone Forums - Some essential Vxxx Programs will get you started on programs you'll need. P2Kman will do the job, but you'll of course need to do a bit of READING on that site as well. It's not going to be one of those, load the the program POOF it'sa unlocked type things, nope you will have to read first, understand second, and then do (of course). Eaiser to pay the 15 20 bucks and be done with it.
