Need help picking new phone please!

Hi, thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

I'm a long-time Cingular customer...everything has been pretty good for a long time, but I'm starting to have miscellaneous problems that they dismiss as basically my imagination.

I want out of my contract, tried telling them last night that the problems I reported months ago are still occuring (calls not going through in PERFECT reception areas) and that they should waive my cancellation fee, but yeah right, they're not going for it.

Basically I need a new phone and I don't want to get it through Cingular or else I'll have to sign up for a new 2 year contract and let's face it, that ain't happening. So I'm going to just buy an unlocked (still not sure what that even means) phone on ebay, and I'm hoping some of you out there can give me some tips on what to buy.

What I want:

1. Motorola, for sure...I hate the others
2. Flip phone
3. Bluetooth would be GREAT
4. I DON'T need a camera or music player or any of that crap (personally I think they should work on making the phones stronger and more durable than trying to cram other features into them).
5. I want to spend LESS than $200.

Can you give me any suggestions on what to buy? The Razrs are OK, but a little pricey. I'm a guy who works in construction sometimes, so durable is more important to me than fancy appearance or features. I LOVE the Nextel phones, they BY FAR have the best phones, but apparently they won't work for me.

THANK YOU!!!

As for getting a phone that is Bluetooth enabled without a camera feature, that is next to impossible. But, if you are looking for a Motorola flip phone (that isn't a RAZR) that has the features you listed, I would suggest the V360 or the V555. I have no personal experience with the V360, but it looks to be a decent phone. I do have a V555, which I am quite happy with. Solid design with all the features I wanted.

Not a flip phone, but the Motorola L2 has bluetooth and no camera, I believe. Looks like a nice cheap phone and I would have gotten it if I weren't forced to sign a contract with a provider that doesn't have it.

I think I would go to Ebay, type in the things you want on the phone and let Ebay show you what is available.

That way you know whats available and can look up or ask here on certain phones. we could be here suggesting all day long, but it would be easier for us if you had a list for us to chose from.

I did a real quick search there and this is what came up:

eBay - Unlocked GSM Motorola flip phone bluetooth, Motorola V600, Phones Only items on eBay.com
