Re: slvr dropped in water help !!!!!
most likely it will have water damage...
whatever you do do not try to turn it on, that will fry the circuit...
take out the battery and let it completely dry for about three days, after you're sure that it has dried check to see if it will turn on, most likely you will also need a new battery.....good luck.

If it does work after it has dried out, you will not be able to put insurance on the phone (since it's already liquid damaged).
Just make sure that during the drying process, that you leave the phone OPEN, back off the phone, battery and SIM card OUT of the phone, and to prop the phone up so that it is at an angle so that any remaining watch can drain out of it. If you think about it, run out and buy a can or two of compressed air, to blow out as much water as possible from all holes and spaces in and around the keys and the rest of the phone.
RESIST the urge to test the phone for at least 5 days. 3 days is good, but 5 is better.
If by any chance you put insurance on the phone when you bought it, then it;s up to you to decide if it worth it to you to make a claim and pay the deductible to get a new phone.
