ok,last night i bought a motorola v690 off a guy on ebay(very nice phone)suppose to be unlocked.here is his description of the phone,tell me if anyone on here thinks i will have a problem with getting service in united states on it or not.

If you're going to be using this phone with T-Mobile it will work on their network since they are 1900 mHz, however you will have coverage problems with T-Mobile's roaming partners that use the 850 mHz band...same goes for Cingular you will have coverage/signal problems where Cingular uses 850 mHz only, so to answer your question it will work but you will have signal problems.

not sure about Georgia but T-Mobile should be all 1900 mHz there, you might be ok, if you want you can check your area HERE just enter your ZIP and it will give you what band your carrier uses in your area.
