hey guys how do you download apps onto the q? Can you download straight from the phone or from the computer then transfer to the phone? If so how do you transfer it? This is my first smartphone so sorry for the newbish question.

You should be able to download CAB files straight from the phone. The other options would be either the data cable and activesync or if you have a bluetooth adaptor for your computer you can transfer files through bluetooth.
