Slvr L7...recommended ?

I've been leaning towards the razr v3i...But now think the slvr might be more for me (very compact as I use the headset anyway). Can anyone comment on the reliability / audio quality and general usefullness of this phone?

I'm buying the SLVR when I am eligible for my employee rate plan on July 10th. I'm buying the pink one. The reason I decided on this over the V3i was in my opinion, the RAZR is old news. EVERY person has one, I want something different. I have a friend who has the SLVR, and the audio quality on his phone was better than I expected. I haven't heard much on the reliability or general usefullness of the phone, since myu friend hasn't had his long. As a CSR, I haven't had many complaints from customers on that phone like there are on other phones. Have you checked ebay's prices?

Not yet, I'm trying to actually commit to a decision between the slvr-v3i-and nokia n70 or 80.

I like the idea of the n80 having a superior camera...But w/ how expensive those nokia's are I could just get a seperate small and good dig. camera. mp3s-internet...not important to me for a phone.

I just want a phone to do it's job but I won't lie I like how the slvr looks...small and efficiant. If I can conclude threre's no big dissadvantages to getting one, it could be it for now.

The slvr is gorgeous. I can't wait to buy mine. Only a couple more weeks, but I want it now!

Chet, if you are looking for something in the V3 price range, the N-series is not for you, they cost hundreds of dollars more... And they are quite chunky, not thin and small like what you are looking for. Check out the Sony Ericsson k510, I reccomended it in your post in the Nokia section.

As for the SLVR, it is a very thin phone indeed, but it's taller and wider than the k510. The k510 is more pocketable and durable for sure. Also, you say you are interested in camera, and the SLVR only has a VGA camera (0.3 megapixel), which isn't very good by today's standards.

Pricewise, the I believe the SLVR is the same price as the k510 (about $150). It supports iTunes and a memory card for playing mp3s, but that isn't what you are interested in, you told me.

maybe an l6 would be good, i have one and its great! its the same size, just not all those bells and whistles. cheaper too!!

Yeh, You got me thinkin on the k510...I like it. Just out of curiousity, is there a sony model right above th e k510 that has an even better camera?

you can turn l7(oem) into a itunes phone if it doesn't have one already. for that i think l7 is worth it.
