i have been using motorola phone tools pretty successfully lately, and i love it. i took a picture with my phone, and needed to transfer it to my computer, so i started up mpt and plugged in my phone, and its not recognizing a connection. i even uninstalled and reinstalled, and it didn't work... i'm really bummed about this, and i have no idea what to do about it... maybe i should just uninstall again, and reinstall without updating it? i think it might be the updates that did it... i'm really lost... any advice?

umm... i have no idea... i think its the most recent, it updated several times when i reinstalled it... i don't know where to find that information, though...
as soon as i start up the program, plug in my phone (or vice-versa), and select my profile, it says communication port unavailable...
i just tried to make a new profile, and it worked. should i just do that again if i have this problem again? and does anybody know why that happened?Last edited by halfwaynowhere; 06-26-2006 at 11:42 PM.
