Battery Life V3C

Ok I just got a Motorola V3c and the battery life stinks, so I bought the extended battery now with this phone when you are charging how do you know when it is completed? The book says it says charge complete but mine never says that on the screen so how do I know?.

and are there any hidden tricks in this phone.?

There are no hidden tricks on any Verizon phone. They would have to charge extra for that!

Did you buy the OEM extended battery, or an after market battery? You might try putting the original battery back in and see if the message shows up. If it does, then the problem might be with your new extended battery.

The current firmware is version .04, based on when you bought the phone, that is probably what you have.

You definitely have firmware version .04 loaded on the phone. You can verify this by:

Press "Menu"
Go to "Settings & Tools"
Choose "System"
Choose "Device Info"
Choose "Other Information"
Choose ""S/W Version"
Mine reads: "GATW_01.0F.02"
Your's will most likely read: "GATW_01.0F.04" which will be the latest version.
