V3i Unlock

I really need to unlock my v3i and i cant find out how to do it
just looking for some advise in how to do it or how to get it done.

Since the v3i is not released by a major carrier yet your v3i should already be unlocked if you got it from an independent dealer and is unbranded.

my phone is on contract from orange

also when i put a o2 sim card in it it askes me for a subsidy password or summat any idea what that is?

see that's why it helps to completley fill out your profile, that we know what service provider you use as well as your location.

Since your phone is locked to Orange it will ask for a subcidy code, not sure what their policy is but you can ask Orange to unlock your phone, they should since the phone is yours to begin with, here in the US one can have a cellphone unlocked by Cingular or T-Mobile if you'd had a contract for 90 days.
