Motorola T720...help!

I currently use Cingular, and have a phone with a SIM card, but it has some big problems, so I want to switch the SIM card and put it in my old AT&T Motorola T720 phone. But when I do that, it asks for a "subsidy password". Anyone know how to get past this?

you can send it to me in Va and i can unlock it for you for $10. i can even throw in a free belt clip to make it worth your time. it is "locked" by at&t so unless you get it unlocked you can never use it with other gsm carriers like T-mobile, etc.... i can unlock it.
