What can i do with my Verizon V3m?

So i ended up getting the V3m from Verizon. I know about the button delay and the camera delay, and all the features that are hidden because of the verizon software that is on the phone.

But the only guides i can find for changing the software is for the V3c or the V3i. Any help there?

Also, what is the bluetooth about? Like, what can it be used for with a PC? My PC can recognize it, but it can't access it, and the phone can't find my PC. It doesn't help that i dont' really know what can be done between the phone and PC with the bluetooth.

Lastly, my phone came with a little thing in the box. There is no documentation of what it is. Here is the description: it's about 3 inches long, one end connects into the mini USB on the phone, the other end is a small dome, with a Motorola M on one side, and on the end, is a smaller hole. Could this be for a non-bluetooth headset? I really don't know.

Thanks for any help any of you might want to offer!

that thing you are describing is the connector to hook up the old kind of earpiece with the mini jack and an ear bud. remember those?

i too am bummed that verizon turned everthing off of this phone that is cool. it appears they've put this new crappy software on all their new phones.

Actually, I believe that is for connecting headphones, so you can listen to the music you load on the memory card.

I too am new to the whole Verizon Razr V3m. I am noticing that i cannot get ring tones from anywhere other then thier POS (Proprietery, On-AIR, Service)! I would like it there is any information on a way to be able to getthings like screen savers \wallpapers\ ringtones\....... and not have to use thier POS.

RANT:
I cannot beleive that they lock you into using only the content they provide. They force you to use your airtime to even browse the content they have. I mean you cant even browse thier own website from your PC to get music tones for this.

There has got to be a way to get around this mess we just need a guru to light the way.

Actually, you can get a stereo headset for the V3m that connects to the data / powerr port that does not require the adapter to the mini plug.
