getting songs to work on SLVR

hey, i bought a slvr l7 on ebay with the motorola mp3 player, not iTunes. i transfered songs with 192kbps and lower that were mp3 files and they dont play. is there something im missing. it says that there is unidentifiable information or something. thanks
