    Re: SLVR L7 Memory Card

Yes there is a 100 song limit, although you can increase that with a few hacks, easy too. And as to my knowledge there only a 1 gig card (as well as smaller sizes) avalible for the time being. Right now I'm running the 10,000 song limit and have about 300 songs 80 videos 30 games (the max games you can put on there) and still have room to spare. Oh and my whole ringtone archive close to 1000. And I've heard some misleading comments as far as bluetooh headsets some yes some no but 'll have to do a little more research for a definite.

    Re: SLVR L7 Memory Card

It's really pointless to delete the factory ringtones (they use up so little mem) All the avalible software is at slvrhacker.net (just have to register) and I made the majority of my tones and just stored them on the card there are a few on my phone mem but just the ones I use for special contacts. If you do attempt to delete the factory tones keep in mind the there are a few that have to stay on to keep the phone working. You can find the links to do that in the everything you need to know about V3 and more thread. And if you need more info check vxxxstuff.com

    Re: SLVR L7 Memory Card

Once your in your ringtones folder (on your phone) hit your softmenu (same button as your reg menu) and scroll to switch storage device, change that to whatever you named your sd card and voila!!! The ringtones that are on your card should pop up just highlight the one you want on your phone use your softmenu again select move (or copy depending on if you want to leave it on your card as well) and move it to your phone.

    Re: SLVR L7 Memory Card

I'm the man, I know. J/k, I've done alot of research on my phones to maximize their capabilities so I can't take all the credit, it's always someone smarter than me finding out how to do all this stuff, I just take their knowlegde and make it everyones. Except for all the sd card options, Iwas lucky enough to catch that on my own while sending other files to my phone I decided to look in the folder that was my removable storage device (my slvr) and noticed all these folders that where for ringtones kjava etc. And started from there, pretty cool trick if you ask me.

    Re: SLVR L7 Memory Card

Not with the 512, I have a 1 gig card and I'm pushing 300+ and once my 2gig card comes I imagine the song capacity will increase but I'd say it would take about 4 gigs to get the 1000 songs (average song length) so once they start making those I'll be the first (or one of the first) with one for my slvr. Don't ask me why they mde the hack for 1000 when they don't have a card that will support it but if you cut the songs down to a mim I'm sure you could get the 1000, it's your call from there.
