What's wrong is that your MPT is not syncing with your phones driver properly.
You should not need anything other than the MPT executable to get your program running properly.
It is a matter of specifically following the directions in the flash install modules to getting this working fine.
Now that it's all done with, either
A) uninstall it completely, and reinstall
B) Fiddle around with your settings, for example.
control panel>phone and modem options>modems tab>
In this window you SHOULD have Motorola USB Modem. Usually the problem is there's a hiccup, and either it is not installed correctly, OR if it is installed, MPT isn't finding it for some reason. Until you get profficient in trouble shooting your own mistakes (It's taken me 3 years..and I still get stumped/baffled sometimes with MPT though it's improved TREMENDOUSLY FROM THE Version 2.0 that I originally had), you may as well just delete it entirely, and restart the PC, and MPT, it'll initialize properly, and when asking you to connect the phone, just follow the prompts...this SHOULD work fine.
p.s. with MPT you do not need any extra software., the drivers and everything should be sufficient...unless of course you have a very unique Motorola phone and need the specific skin and driver for it...though that's why the updates are constant with MPT nowadays

.
lastly, you can just take a screen pic next time ya know

Might be easier.
