I don't think you can. The Verizon UI is put on there by the manufacturer. I don't think that the manufacturer's UI is anywhere on the phone. It would take quite a bit of work and a lot of know how to get it back to factory settings IF it's possible...which I don't think it is.

The instructions on flashing your V3c to an earlier version of the firmware are available somewhere in the forum. I believe that it is a link to Howard forums or something like that. You might be better off trying to edit the seems on your V3c, thereby allowing your phone to work with MPT.

As for transferring files to a T-Mobile V3, I assume you mean pictures, ringtones and contacts, correct? Once you have transferred them to your PC using MPT, it is a simple task to transfer them to the other phone using the same software. Most likely you will not be able to transfer directly from phone to phone because Verizon has completely disabled that ability, even in the earlier version of the firmware.

Good luck.

He is not talking about putting the Motorola UI back on the phone. Instead, he is trying to get files off of his V3c and transferred over to his V3 (unless I am mistaken... and I doubt that). This has been done, and the instructions have been posted on this forum as well as Howard Forums. What Wigget wants to do is to load an earlier version of Verizon's own firmware in place of his current version. It is no different than when Verizon does a firmware upgrade in their tech support department.

My bad. I thought he wanted to get back to the Motorola UI.

No. Did you read my post? I specifically said you would have to transfer everything to your PC from your V3c, then from your PC to your V3. Verizon has disabled all BT profiles except for headset and handsfree (even in the earlier firmware). There has been some rumor that Verizon enabled the BT to PC profile in firmware version .04 for the V3c, but I can not say for sure if that has happened.
