Disabled EVDO V3m

Ok so I disabled EVDO on my cellphone as I will not use VCAST. So my question is will I now be able to play .mp3 files as well as .WMA files since it has no place to connect to get song info as I get license acuisition failed? Can I now save my MP3s to the My_Music folder under my SD Card like I did on the E815? Can I play the MP3s in a playlist?

No. You still need to enable the MP3 format in the firmware. Further, since you disabled EVDO, you will probably have issues if you ever want to use Get It Now or send text and pix messages from your formerly EVDO phone.

If you don't want to use VCAST, why didn't you just stop paying for it?
