unlocked phones

Can unlocked phones access their web browsers and download games? I have cingular as my service and wanted to download games to my V3i but my phone is unlocked, and was told that I could not use my web browser.

Go to extra: web access, then web sessions, then add one like this

It SHOULD work. I just did it on my new V3i and I have no problem using MEdia Net and downloading things

Thank you for trying!! I put that in my phone and I am sorry to say that it didn't work. I am able to reach I guess, the homepage of cingular but am not able to choose any heading, e.g. "what's hot", "ringtones", etc.. Thanks for trying though.

Does it give you news and stuff and are you sure that you scrolled all the way down?

make sure you input everything correctly. those settings should allow you to access the WAP browser on your phone.

I triple checked that I had everything input correctly and it still didn't work. Thanks for trying. I really don't know why it won't work but I Thank you for trying to help! If you think of anything else PLEASE let me know!
