I can't get my e815 to turn off. Every time I try it just comes right back on. Any idea what's wrong?

Sounds like a s/w bug to me. Take out the battery for a few mins and than put it back in. That should fix it, if not. I don't know.

Ironwalt is absolutely right, taking out the battery for a couple of minutes is kind of like rebooting the phone. The only time I sort of have this problem is when I plug in a charger, not sure if it has anything to do with the 'touchy' charging ports that the Moto's have. You can almost feel it wiggle when you plug it in...but sometimes when I plug it in (with the phone off) it will keep turning itself on...

The contacts probably need to be re-established, for lack of a better word.

Your right. Did not think about that charger setup on the e815. I had a T720 V60 and other Moto's that did that too. I am so happy the V3c has the usb charger.

Yup. Everytime you read reviews, at least 1 out of 3, or 5, mention that charging port...it becomes worse over time and doesn't help if you drop the phone.

Alltel huh? I assume you live more towards the Southern part of the country. I've heard good things about Alltel but it's not available in the Northeast yet.

That has always been a problem with the Moto's, But I still love them.

I have had Alltel for almost 10 years now and just love the service. I'm in Little Rock, Home of Alltel. When I got my 1st bag Moto, Alltel was the only service I could find in Little Rock at that time. I hope they will be able to move into other areas before to long.
