I see "flashing" antennas for sale in many places but I'm afraid to purchase as I am uncertain if the antennas can be used with my phone. Somebody switched the original antenna off my Motorola V547 phone and I had a spare antenna that I inserted and screwed-in. The phone no longer works. I can neither make nor receive calls. I thought all antennas were the same for all phone models. I guess I thought wrong.

Yeah, different phones use different antennas. You can probably get a flashing antenna for your phone, but you need to make sure you get one for your phone model.

I say AVOID using them unless you don't mind the reduced reception.

Few years ago, someone wants to show me his new flashing led antenna on his phone. He had the same phone as me during that time and same provider.

Well, we compare both phones and he have less bars than I do. So he have more drop calls than I do.

Too much trouble for the bling, if that's considered bling.
