Help!!!

Hey everyone i just bought a cell phone and sim card off ebay. I am faily new to this hole thing so im woundering what i need to get started. I purchased an i60c and a nextel sim card i want to do pay as you go but how do i go about getting a phone number and such. Looking forward to your replys. thank you to everyone who replys.

You should call Boost Mobile tech support, 1-888-BOOST-4U. That's the prepaid company for Nextel. I don't want to say anything and be wrong, but you might have to get a Boost SIM from them to activate the phone, but don't take my word for it just call them and they can help. They're used to stuff like this, they'll hook you up!

You bought a Sim card off ebay? Only dealers/cell phone providers can activate a sim card. So I dont know how your sim card would work if it is from some Mr nobody. When someone cancels his contract with a provider the sim card is deactivated and cannot be used. Hoever if the seller is a phone service dealer, he can then activate and send you a sim card. First check whether this is the case or you just got a used sim card.

Hey guys thanks for the replys first off. Anyways yes i got the sim card and phonme off ebay the phone was used with nextel before and i bought a nextel card. The guy who sold me the card works for nextel and he said he got these cards with his employee discount. He said they work for sure cause they have been tested by a nextel tech before they are sent out. I dont even know what a sim card is really for so ya that shows how much i know about cell phones lol. If the phone is unlocked and i have a nextel card do you think i can do pay as you go or prepaid. Also i live in canada so does nextel even work up here ? lol Im starting to think i should of asked all this before i went and bought the stuff lol.
