    Possibly, there was once a time when I was able to do this with mp3's as well, there may now be stronger filters in place though. What's your service provider and we can help you more.

    If I'm not mistaken with verizon you can use you vizpic e-mail address (sorry for being vague but I don't know exactly what the extension is) but you can also send mp3 tones via this method as well
