Motorola V266

Im having a few problems with my phone. One is i bout a datacable for it and i plug it into my computer but it doesnt even detect it and when i plug my phone into the cord while its plugged into my computer it doesnt do nothing so is there a certain setting my phone has to be on for my computer to detect it? My service provider is metro PCS.

Another question is that my phone can accpet MMS messages, but i was wondering is there a way to send MMS messages from the computer to my phone?

Did any software come with the data cable? If not, then try looking for MPT(Mobile Phone Tools).
