SLVR, taking pictures an using Music with Memory Card

I have just bought a 512MB Memory card for my SLVR L7, now when I take pictures, it will not let me store them on my card ? only on the phones memory, Nor will it let me move any pictures from the Phone to the card. Any Help is great !

Also, I have put tracks onto my card, yet I can't use any of the MP3's as a ringtone unless I move it onto the phones memory a miniscule 5MB.

You must first format your card before you can do anything with it, at least with you phone, second if you don't know how to when you store your pics it will give you an option on where to send them. The mp3's? Yeah that sucks unless their on your phone your outta luck but I hope you not trying to use a full song for your ringtone (it's pointless considering you'll never hear the whole thing) you can just tranfer small bits to you phones mem by using the cable and your computer will see your phone as a "removable storage device". Good luck.

I just took it out of the box an plugged it in, how to I unlock it ???


When I try to move files from phones memory to memory card is says cannot move, when I try to take pictures, on the memory card it takes it, then the camera just closes.

on the card, there should be a lock/unlock position

These sd card are too small to have a lock feature (although I do know about the ones you speak of) To have the pictures you take put on the card you must first change the storage device you can do that by going to you camera hitting your softmenu button and changing it to your card after that all the pictures you take will be stored there. If your trying to move a file that came on your phone to your card it won't work but if it's a tone pic file all you have to do is scoll to the tone/pic you want to move hit your softmenu and scroll to move it will ask where/how (sd card or bluetooth) you choose your card and bingo ther it is. SO i AM DOWNLOADING THEM USING THE BLUETOOTH

but
i CANNOT EDIT OR DELETE THE MP3 OFF MY PHONE
How can i delete sngs off my memory card and off my phone
