GSM replacement for a TDMA phone?

I have a Motorola Timeport P8197 TDMA/analog celphone which came with my car back in Y2001, and my cellular provider is Cingular.

On 9/14/2006 Cingular notiified me that they are shortly going to stop providing TDMA/analog service, and that I must change to a new GSM phone.

This phone is used both handheld and plugged into the car, where it works as a car speakerphone.

I am trying to find out if there is a newer model Motorola cellphone for sale that uses the newer GSM type of service and has the exact same "port" (or receptacle) as my current Timeport P8197 celphone.

I asked Motorola, but so far have received no answer from them.

Does anyone out there have the answer to my question?
