I just obtained a L2 and have some questions. In various areas on the Web I have noticed that the side buttons were configured to activate Voice Calling and Volume. The side buttons on this one activate Phone Book and PTT features. I am part of the Cingular Network (not PTT or Pre-Paid) and the Phone originated in Canada assumably configured to a service provider in that Country. Can the L2 be configured to different applications? I also notice that the Reception Quality is less than desirable. My previous V600 has superior performance even though much older and my daughter's Sony (even older) is better than either Motorola. I need a phone with Bluetooth but can not have a Camera (security reasons at work). The phone settings are as follows:
