Rokr wont connect to comp :(

hey ijust bought a Rokr for cingular but for some reason it wont connect to the computer. when i double click the icon in my computer it acts as if its a cd rom drive thingy lol. im using a mybat usb data cable in case that helps. hehe not to mention that the backlight isnt working. *sry if i spelt something wrong*

You should have gotten a cd with itunes that will have the drivers for your phone if not go to the free stuff for your moto thread and download mpt (motorola phone tools)

okies tyvm i bought it used so it only came with the charger (prolly why the screen doesnt work right lmao) ill try it out and write back if i need more help.*kinda new to the whole cell phone thing cuz its my first one*

It takes forever to delete & add songs to a ROKR! It is great for travelling, because you have an all in one device, but for day to day use, I rock the Nano instead. I am torn between the ROKR E2 & SLVR 7e as the next upgrade. ROKR is a cool phone. Just waych out, the charger is just like V551, it will require some interesting positions to charge your phone, you will see in a few months.
