Ok Here's the situation... I recently got a Motorola L2 phone, and I then purchased a bluetooth adapter for my laptop so it could communicate with my phone. It comes with a wireless file transfer utility.
So I started deleting files on my cell phone to make space for videos and such and I deleted the videos that came with my phone. I didn't get a chance to se what format they were, but i saw on my friend's phone that they were .3gp's so i assume that's what my phone uses. i also saw that my music files were .midis and .mp3's.
Anyway, I was able to transfer pictures, animated .gif's, and midi's to my phone, but was unable to transfer .jar's to the phone. I later came across a site with .3gp videos, but found that i was also unable to transfer .3gp's to the phone. The problem was always the same, they failed on transfer.
I also tried to transfer cd's that i converted to mp3's with WMP, this was succesful, but upon trying to play the file on my cell phone, I was prompted that my file was not supported.
I know that these are a lot of problems... but any help would be appreciated

Re: Help with Motorola L2 File transfer
Hey There!
I just recently got this phone also and I have found out that Mp3's need to be 128 bit rate or less to be supported. So I went and re-encoded the ones I wanted to that bit rate and it worked fine.
As for the .jar files and video files I am not sure. I am trying to figure out how to get the JAVA files to work as well.
