I'm having trouble syncing the krzr with my PC. Apparently the Motorola Phone Tools does not have the krzr as one of the phones listed. Is there a way to sync without using the Motorola software?
Also this phone appears to be an asian edition since the keypad has some sort of characters. Its a Tmobile k1.

Re: krzr pc sync problem
If you have the Verizon KRZR, you would still not be able to connect with your PC, even if MPT supported the KRZR. Verizon has removed OBEX from the firmware, eliminating the ability to use MPT.

My Experience
Motorola Phone Tools was already installed on one of my desktops. I found out the hard way that the KRZR wouldn't work with it. Regardless, the KRZR touched my pc and prevented future connectivity, even when I had the right software (Verizon music essentials kit). I tried uninstalling MPT to no avail. I just had to settle with syncing the KRZR with my Vaio Laptop (no program has touched it since it's new). Works like a charm, but you would think this syncing crap would be a bit less stressful
