#1 | | Newbie | Hello,
Just got a new, unlocked razr v3 on Ebay. I purchased an OEM charger and car charger. I plugged in the charger and it said "cannot charge at this time" or something like that. I unplugged then replugged it and the message went away.
I left it on the charger overnight. Now the phone won't turn on at all. Nothing.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Mike

#3 | | Newbie | Well, I tried it. Left the battery out for a half hour and still nothing.
Thanks, anything else I can try?

#4 | | El Super Moderador | Yes, try a different battery...go to a cellphone shop and just have them try a different battery for you.
If you have a car charger try that, it may also be your home charger not charging your battery at all. Doesn't hurt to check.

#5 | | Junior Member | Yeah, does it turn on when it is plugged in, because some phones turn on when there is a power source to it.

I've tried the car charger.......nothing. I'll have to try your cellphone shop/battery idea.
Thanks everyone. If you think of anything else, I appreciate it.

Flash memory has nothing with the phone's charging circuit.

#13 | | Newbie | UPDATE:
Bought a new battery, which seems to have a full charge. The phone turned on. When I hooked up the charger it said, "Unable to charge", so I turned it off and removed the battery until...............
I'll try the car charger next.
EDIT: phone says the same thing with the car charger.
So, what's the next step?
I've ordered a USB cable and MPT.
Thanks,
Mike
