does anybody know how to turn off the music when you turn on the phone without having to keep ring on silent? doesnt seem to be a specific command for that in sound settings, but there is on the LG3300. its driving me nuts, thanks.

With my V3m set on vibrate, doesnt make a sound at all, ever.

Re: motorola rzr v3c simple question
umm yea, maybe you didnt get the point of my question.
id like to hear my phone ring, but i dont want to hear the loud intro music when you turn it on.
the only way around this as far as i can see is turning it on silent or vibrate, OR turning your volume to silent every time you're about to turn your phone off so that the next time you turn it on you don't hear the music but then have to keep playing with the volume as follows.
im still thinking they overlooked this when designing the phone and its features which is slightly irritating, the cheapest virgin mobile i know of has the option to turn the intro music off no hassle, yet this one seems to have no possibility of it.

None of the newer Verizon Motorola phones have the option to turn off the on/off music.
