Seem Edit for the External Display on a VZW Motorola V3m

All,
I just performed the SEEM edit to enable picture display on the external display on my Motorola V3m, but I noticed that it no longer used the full display viewing area. There's about a 1/8 inch blank area above and below the viewable display. Anyone know of a way to correct it?

I did try setting in back to the normal Blue and Orange external display, but the blank area remained.
