i875 to i870 conversion. Possible?

Ok, so...I"m a n00b and I got had.
Bought an i875 off of eBay without knowing that Nextel would get pissed and block my text and internet access a few hours after putting in my nextel sim. Yes, the phone worked 100% for a few hours, then no access to the web at all.

So, what I want to do is this:
1) Is it possible to "flash the bios" on the i875 and turn it into an i870 that Nextel will recognize? And if so, please give me a detailed list of everything I will need to accomplish this.

2) Is there another way to make the i875 work...

If you want to use a Nextel SIM in a Boost phone, THE BOOST PHONE MUST BE UNLOCKED.
