Cleaning Up Text Messages

I have a V551, and I use it quite a bit for text messaging.

As such, I always have a lot of messages in my inbox/outbox.

I find myself recieving the "low memory" message frequently, and usually I delete all the messages in my outbox as a quick fix. But often that isn't enough.

In my mesage options, I have it set to keep 20 messages in the inbox, but often it is in excess of that number, and just recently, was in the low 40s.

Why is this? Why is it not deleting older messages and keeping my inbox at a 20 message level?

Re: Cleaning Up Text Messages

Is there a difference in your text messages?
Such as net alerts, SMS, and text?
Just be sure you have your cap set for the right kind of message - other than that - I have no idea what the problem could be.

Text messaging is so slow and tedious. I was wondering if there is a place on line you can go to send off the text messages? LovingPerson alt.cellular.motorola 0 03-02-2004 11:11 AM
