question about increasing the song limit on slvr

hey so i was reading up on hack for my slvr l7 that will increase the song limit in itunes from 100 to 1000. but im confused about something, when i do this, do i no longer have iTunes? is it replaced by a new program so the itunes button wont work on my phone anymore? or does it just increase the song cap?

If you have a new slvr (with the recent firmware upgrade 08.c4.25r) you won't be able to hack it at all, but if you have the old firmware ends in er1 I do believe then you won't have a problem. It just replaces your itunes with a similar version plus a few extra options (like resuming your songs after a call) the new version looks almost exactly the same (at least the vassio does) and has the same interface. To find your firmware version you can just remove the back of your phone and look for s/w:

mine ends in 1ER is that the same version as ending in ER1?
