holy crap! so dont even bother trying to put that hacked version of itunes on your phone
use winamp and download the ml_ipod plug in, and you can put as many songs on your phone as there is room for..... when your listening to them on itunes it will still say there are only 100 songs but right now i have 125 songs on my 512 mb card in my slvr...... the winamp plugin doesnt see the 100 song cap. BOO YEAH! so happy!

Nice find. Let's see if it works for other people, and if so, see if this can be made into a sticky...

okay wait, so at first i was thrilled by this, but then it got wierd.... so yes winamp lets you add as many songs as your card can hold, but then my itunes got all wierd, it only showed like 4 artists, and 2 of them for some reason would just skip through the songs as if they werent there. so i retract my previous statement about winamp being awesome on this topic.... boo...

    Cult of Apple strikes again.

I ordered a non iTunes V3i just for this reason. I've never had a problem with my V3i and any limits. I can put as many tunes as my 1 GB card can hold without any headaches.
