Weird beep problem w/the v276

My motorola v276 has recently started doing a very strange thing. For about the past month or so, every night at exactly 12:06 a.m. it lets out a loud chirp. Almost the same sound it makes when you first plug the charger in. I have checked all my "alerts." I have checked my reminders and the calendar. No where do I have any kind of alarm set, especially for that hour! any ideas? It's driving me nuts. Even if I put it on vibrate, it still lets out that loud chirp. It wakes me up every night. I have to leave the phone on at all times as it is the contact # for my mothers medical alert device. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Did you check your "tools" menu? you may have accidentally enabled a reminder, if you do a "reset" do not do a "master reset" that's the one that will erase your phone contacts.

I did check tools. I don't have any type of notification set. It's strange. It just started happening out of the blue about a month or so ago. Also there is only a master reset. Not just a reset. So not sure what to do.

Reprogram your phone, dial *228 ( choose the option to reprogram) and see if that wipes it out.

Re: Weird beep problem w/the v276

just want to make this clear that, "master reset" does not erase contacts,, only phone settings.
"Master clear" will erase all media including contact,

Master reset is safe in motorola phones.

Re: Weird beep problem w/the v276

well, the master reset did not work. Except phone beeped at 12:07 a.m. instead of 12:06 a.m.
Next I'll try the *228 and reprogram. If that doesn't work, I'll have to call Verizon I guess.

Now you got me wondering about this issue as well, let me know if the *228 works, i recommended this to someone with the same issue before and it did work.

Let us know.
