how to make unlocked phone blank?

okay so i have a slvr l7 that was on the rogers network and was unlocked and now im using it t-mobile. the calling and texting work perfect. my problem is with the picture messaging. i have tried changing all the settings manualy for the rogersmms server to that of the t-mobile mms servers that i have found on here and other sites, but still it doesnt work. which sucks. and the t-mobile auto-configurer doesnt work. it said update failed. all the time!
so my question is this. becasue its a rogers branded phone i think its preventing the update from beign allowed to be applied. is there a way to totaly errase everything on the phone that has anything to do with rogers and just make it start over so its not branded to any company so i can apply the t-mobile mms configure thing?
anyone ever done this or ever gotten a roggers slvr l7 to work for picture messaging on the t-mobile network?

Tom, I'm not trying to be mean but you need to learn how to use the "search function" first because so many of these types of questions have been asked and answered numerous times here.

I've only been a CPF'er for a couple months and I've already answered this particular question several times.

T-Mobile picture messaging will not work until you SEND YOURSELF A PICTURE MESSAGE FIRST. I know this sounds silly but it's the way TMo has their network programmed. You can have every single setting set up properly and unless and until you send yourself a picture message, it will not work.

Take a picture and send it to yourself. It activates the system for you.

i have tried to search and everything i have read that is supposed to help me doesnt..... im so confused... i think my phone might be cursed, im "uber"....thats right, uber pissed, i cant seem to get my phone to act awesome. it drops signals alot and wont ever send/reciever pic messages! ived tried the 30 different T-mobile mms settings ive found by searching/googling..... im so annoyed! i just want t-mob to be like heres how u fix it and bam! wala! but nope! its lame! grrrrrrr any ideas of how to actually get my phone to be reprogrammed from scratch?
