Motorola KRZR K1M - Modifying it..

Hey guys I have a Motorola KRZR K1M with TELUS as my provider.

I have two questions:

1) How do I get free ringtones? I do have a transflash card.

2) How do I get free themes? The net or where?

When did America become the "I expect everything for free" country?

When did wanting a service that everyone else gets but a greedy cellphone provider disables it to make more money become such a large request?

This thread was posted for help not your own comments on how you think cell phone companies need to make more money.... phone $400, Plan $60/month and yet the cell phone company still needs to tamper with the manufacture's intentions so I have to pay $3.50 for a ringtone for a song I already had to purchase, thanks but most of us are locked into contracts... are you a lawyer or somthing? You think cell phone companies need more money?

You'd be hardpressed to prove this as I never said anything of the sort. Indeed most carriers are making record profits. They are all doing quite well actually.

LOL. No one has suggested you need to spend $400 for a cell phone. Most carriers offer basic models for free. Since you are so fond of things free, you should be happy to take advantage of a basic carrier phone rather than the extravagance of a $400 phone. Indeed, anyone who can afford a $400 phone can probably afford a $1.99 ringtone.

No manufacturer has any intention of condoning theft. Music belongs to the person or group who created it. Artists don't just create music for free. Companies can't just grab it and sell it for free. They have to pay royalties for it. You should do some research before making conclusions you don't have facts to support.

And no, I'm not a lawyer. Just someone who understands that most things in life don't come for free.
