hi, i just got this adaptor so i can use regular headphones. When i plug it in, i cant hear anything, but it doesnt sound like the adpator is bad because i can hear the static sound when you plug in the headphones. The headphones are good as well.

    Any suggestions?

I have read that Motorola headphones with the mini-usb jack are digital, and headphones people try to use with the adapter are analog and won't work with a digital signal. The Motorola headphones have a small pre-amplifier on the cable that boosts the sound so you can hear it. You can get the Motorola headphones at many Cingular stores for $29.00 +- or you could try to buy some for around $10.00 including shippping on eBay. Be careful of those however. As I understand it, many of them are counterfits.
