Found RAZR US cellular. able to work??

hey guys, i found a RAZR on the ground by my park 2 days ago. I turned it on and tryed to make a call with it but someone already cancelled it. I do have us cellular service for my current phone and it seems this phone was also in service by us cellular. Is there any way i could possibly take this phone in to us cellular and ask them to put my number on it and i could use it? . btw, i would have returned it to someone but noone was around, and it was at night. i had no idea what to do with it. thanks
