How do I download pictures from a Motorola L6 to Computer

Hi Bob,
I want to download photos off my Motorola phone (about 2 years old). I have a mini-USB cable, but cannot get a connection with my PC (Win XP).

This all depends on your phone's software, and if it has a memory card.

If you have a memory card, try this: while in the Pictures folder, highlight a pic and hit the Menu key There should be an option to Move. Click on that and when it asks you where to move it to, choose memory card. Once the pics are on the memory card, you can access them with a PC using just a USB cable.

If your phone doesn't take a memory card, then you will need software drivers (Motorola Phone Tools or something similar) to ge at the pcis and other files on the phones internal memory.

I also would like to download photos from a Motorola L6 to a pc.
in a post above it mentions to follow details in the sig but I guess the sig must have changed since the post as I could,'t find any instructions.
Anyone know where i can obtain the drivers/software to do this?

The last section of the site, entitled "Ring Tone to Phone", has instructions for transferring files from a PC to a cell phone. This transfer of files can be made in either direction. Reverse the procedure.

upoad the software first on your computer and the use the data cable for your phone.

you can either install motorola phone tools and buy a little USB cord (i do it this way, and it's the same size as the one for my camera) or e-mail them to yourself
