Extended Battery?

I have found several sites that sells what they call a longer lasting battery. It's said to be bigger and requires a different battery cover. Does anyone have any experience in this? Does it last longer than a standard battery? Are there legit sites out there? Please, any help is appreciated. Oh, btw; it's for a Motorola V3 Razr.

From what I know, that is possible. However, I don't know if that requires a bigger battery cover as I have had multiple aftermarket batteries and they just fit like the original one. Just higher voltage.

thanks for clearing that up mobileprincess. On my old Samsung U600 when I got an aftermarket battery, it didn't require an new battery cover.

If you can find such an item and it is reliable, then snag it quick. An extended battery will prove extremely useful for a variety of purposes.
